Broker HitCrit  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.22.3 Release
by: Zhinjio, Torhal

Summary

An LDB data source that tracks your top hits and crits for all of the abilities you use. Both heals and attacks are tracked, if desired.

Yes, the icon is cheese. Who doesn't like cheese?

Usage

Configuration options are reached by right-clicking on the LDB display.

Entries can be reported into the chatframe by left-clicking on them in the tooltip.

Data can be removed by Alt-Left-clicking on entries in the tooltip. If you click on a category (eg, "Damage" or "Healing"), it will remove ALL entries from that category. If you alt-left-click on a spell school, it will remove all entries from that spell school. Alt-Left-Clicking on a spellname will remove ALL entries for that spell. Alt-Left-Clicking on the "Hit" or "Crit" value from a spell will only remove the "TOP" entry from that spell (the top 3 values are maintained).

Error pops up when I try to link the 6th line starting from damage and going downward. I got my spells sorted by type. I'm using carousel to display broker plugins. This error keeps showing up, even though I tried deleting the WTF files and even uninstalling the addon but for some reason my broker:hitcrit numbers still shows up in the same numbers, which is a bad odd to be honest. The numbers that should show up is melee dmg, but this damage, both hit and crit is from a super buffed Undercity fight which wasn't filtered. Only thing from the hit & crit list I can't post
I was just informed that I need to update my libqtip and/or libqtipclick references since they consolidated. I'll try to take care of that shortly.

Ah, didn't think about possible issues with other ldb displays. I'm using Titan Panel for display.

I'd tried the tweak suggested below, but it just makes my hitcrit "cheese slice" completely disappear. Ive done exactly what it says, so that it reads "tooltip:SetAutoHideDelay( .01, self )", also tried other numbers.

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas?
No biggy if it just needs to wait for next release
It should work fine. I've done it and it's much better than the 2 second delay. I did 0.1, I think. Try that.

Change the 2 to whatever you want but NOT 0 or it will not disappear.
I use .01 and it is pretty instant.

Re: Another option

Another option that would be useful is having this separate damage based on both the current talent spec (for dual specs) and also for the current presence/aura/stance/etc.

For example, as a DK, if I switch to blood presence, I get 15% increased damage. That's fine, but I usually use frost presence and I'd rather not overwrite the damage and records that I *normally* get. It would be nice if it kept separate data and then when you changed either talent spec or presence/aura/stance/etc, it would show the damage specific to that setup.

Obviously, some presence/aura/stance/etc settings don't affect damage and don't need separate displays (just grouping the ones that would have the same damage would be fine and only separate the ones that have different damage stats).

Just a thought.
Yeah, this was asked for in one of the other comments below. Again, I'll consider it.

Great. And may i suggest also that the displays top values in the broker window shall change when you change spec (if you are a healer, show healing stats. if you are a dps/tank, show damage stats)

I think it would be good, since i play a shaman and i have struggling remember if i did more damage with Lightning Bolt as Enhancement or with Elemental, since both is in their main rotation...

I should have known better. Next version will make it an optional adjustment.
