Broker HitCrit  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.22.3 Release
by: Zhinjio, Torhal

Summary

An LDB data source that tracks your top hits and crits for all of the abilities you use. Both heals and attacks are tracked, if desired.

Yes, the icon is cheese. Who doesn't like cheese?

Usage

Configuration options are reached by right-clicking on the LDB display.

Entries can be reported into the chatframe by left-clicking on them in the tooltip.

Data can be removed by Alt-Left-clicking on entries in the tooltip. If you click on a category (eg, "Damage" or "Healing"), it will remove ALL entries from that category. If you alt-left-click on a spell school, it will remove all entries from that spell school. Alt-Left-Clicking on a spellname will remove ALL entries for that spell. Alt-Left-Clicking on the "Hit" or "Crit" value from a spell will only remove the "TOP" entry from that spell (the top 3 values are maintained).

zhinjio at gmail dot com would be fine, thanks.

And yeah, thats a good suggestion about the formatting, and certainly easy enough to do. I'll play with a few different ways when I get a chance next and come up with something a tad more readable.

Tooltips work again. Thanks. Also, the colors work even though they are controlled by the addon settings rather than the LDB toolbar settings, but that's okay. I know I'm nitpicking, but now that I see it in white, it's a little scrunched together... and maybe that's why it was hard to read with colors too. Some spacing would probably help.

Current display example:

2345(5636)/5432(5732)

Possible changes:

2345 (5636) / 5432 (5732)
2345 (5636) - 5432 (5732)
2345 / 5636 - 5432 / 5732
2345/5636 - 5432/5732

Or something similar. You might also consider making the non-number characters /, -, or () a separate color to stand out --- both with colors on and with colors off. Not something really bright or anything... maybe like a gray or black or dark shade of orange or yellow or something. Something that just helps to show the divider between the numbers without making it the focus of what you see if you know what I mean.

Again, I know it's just nitpicking, so if you don't want to do that, it's fine. Just offering suggestions.

Also, I still can't delete that one damage value. You mentioned sending the Lua file to you. Where can I send that?

Changing the icon and label displays work fine, but no matter what I set for colored text, it always shows the text in color. Sometimes I like colored text, but in this situation, the red/green just makes it a bit hard to read, so I'd rather keep in white. If it's possible to change how it handles coloring the text for healing/damage so that the option to enable and disable colored text works, that would be great.
[/b]
I'll add an option for that as I'm figuring out this tooltip issue. Expect it in the next release.

As for deleting the damage I mentioned before, since I can't see the tooltip, I can't try it with this version. I'll send the Lua file to you for checking. Where do I send it? I can't include attachments in a private message unless I am missing something.
I'm having the same issues. Data will not display in Titan Panel but i can access the config settings via titan panel. However, I deleted the new version & went back to 2.8.4 & the tool tip works again.

I've been having the same problem ever since installing the new version. I'm using the latest version of Fortress. Data seems to be collecting.

I'm seeing notices in the chat window of new max values and they are showing up in the label/text so that portion seems to be working. No tooltip shows up however when I hover over the icon/text in Fortress.

That one deleted fine.

However, I also have a "Boiling Oil" damage (I think that was the name) from the quest in Grizzly Hills where you have to ride the other guy's horse and throw burning oil at the wolfmen (whatever they're called) until you reach safety. That one won't delete. It asks if I want to and I click yes and it stays on the list. I don't get any Lua errors... it just doesn't delete. Any ideas?

I'll try the new version to see if it works to delete the value and let you know if it does, but I don't see anything in the change log that sounds like it may fix the problem.
I haven't seen this. I'll have to find a toon that hasn't done the quest yet, and give it a try. Alternately, please send me your LUA file so I can take a look and see if its data related (which I suspect)

Thanks very much. It's odd, but the tooltip also won't display for any of my characters across my three realms. If there's anything troubleshooting-wise I can do to help, please ask :-)

2.9.0 release

Alrighty....

2.9.0 should take care of any lingering libqtip problems, as the new version is now packaged, and libqtipclick removed. SetAutoHideDelay is now a slider in the options (which have been slightly reorganized with the new added options), and it defaults to .1 seconds (range .1 - 2). I've also added in the ability include either or both the health and damage to the LDB text label display (green and red, respectively).

Note: Dockingstation does not currently allow the tooltip delay stuff to work. I tested with Buttonbin, though, and it worked just fine.
