Broker HitCrit  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.22.3 Release
by: Zhinjio, Torhal

Summary

An LDB data source that tracks your top hits and crits for all of the abilities you use. Both heals and attacks are tracked, if desired.

Yes, the icon is cheese. Who doesn't like cheese?

Usage

Configuration options are reached by right-clicking on the LDB display.

Entries can be reported into the chatframe by left-clicking on them in the tooltip.

Data can be removed by Alt-Left-clicking on entries in the tooltip. If you click on a category (eg, "Damage" or "Healing"), it will remove ALL entries from that category. If you alt-left-click on a spell school, it will remove all entries from that spell school. Alt-Left-Clicking on a spellname will remove ALL entries for that spell. Alt-Left-Clicking on the "Hit" or "Crit" value from a spell will only remove the "TOP" entry from that spell (the top 3 values are maintained).

Ooh an update!

- chatframe reporting fixed
Yes! I had to disable this addon for a long time actually because of that. It was spamming me on every attack!

Solution to Crit error with new patch

Hello

I have found a workaround that HitCrit doesn't recognize critical healing.
In the file Broker_HitCrit.lua you have to find the function "HitCrit:COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED" (Should be in Line 350).

In this function find the line "if ( amTracking( "healing" ) ) then" (near line 413). After this line all possible healing types are checked. For every Type find the line which contain this:

"... amount, overheal, crit = select( 1, ... )".

Change every line to

"... amount, overheal, absorbed, crit = select( 1, ... )".

Now the healing crits should be recognized correctly.

The lines i have changed so far are: 416, 421, 425, 430, 434

There's no error in bugsack, but with the new patch it is not saving the highest Scourge Strike crits/hits.

2.11.1 release contains a number of fixes and stuff:

- changed LDB text display to be more readable
- added in suppression of any spell school (or all damage/healing) from the tooltip (note that this is independent of whether you are tracking those values or not
- added all argent tournament spells to spell exclusions
- a few other misc fixes and one error squashed
- some code cleanup

Please let me know if you find anything broken with it. I think its pretty well tested, though.
