MetaHud - Nuckin Branch is a Heads Up Display Add-on for World of Warcraft 3.0 and above. It is a continuation of the original MetaHud by MetaHawk which was discontinued after Patch 2.4.3.

Although MH-Nuckin is a continuation, it isn't the same. MH-Nuckin is focused on remaining encapsulated as a self sustaining Add-on without requiring other libraries. As thus, its feature set differs from MetaHud's.

As of v30100-8.0, MetaHud - Nuckin Branch no longer includes a cast bar. I suggest using my stand alone cast bar called Circle Cast.

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch Features: (as of v30100-8.0)

  • Curved Verticle Health, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Runic Power bars for Player, Target, and Pets.
  • Target's Target Name and Health Bar.
  • Reskinnable Bar Backgrounds.
  • Death Knight rune support.
  • Movable Death Knight Runes.
  • Skinnable Death Knight Runes.
  • Target Buffs (40) and Target Debuffs (40).
  • Countdown timers on all Target Auras.
  • Movable and Resizable Target Auras.
  • Target range indicator.
  • Target guild display.
  • Resting, PvP, Combat, Leader, and Looter icons.
  • Text based Threat Meter.
  • Unique HUD texture that are exclusive to MetaHud - Nuckin Branch.
  • In Game graphical configuration tool to make MetaHud look and feel how you want.

And I want to second what was said some posts back about the people who are complaining about the direction you are taking MetaHud. This is YOUR add-on, if people don't like the way YOU are doing it, they are welcome to write one or find a different one to use.

I'm receiving an error from Metahud 8.3. Each time I would get "Interface action failed because of an AddOn" while in Ulduar and DC. Whether it's MetaHud is questionable, but I ran taintlog to determine the culprit and it came up with:

Any chance of having castbar back? The idea was to get all-in-one, the hud and castbar on it. Your "replacement" (Circle Cast) looks... err... ugly. And takes alot of space on the screen.

ah got it... is there any chance to see it applied or am i unpolite asking that?
I also found some (other) addons that allows you to do that, built for metahud, but seems the developer aint decided to toss a refresh on it

The slice and dice buff is applied to you, so it should show up in the upper right buff frame of the default blizzard frames, the auras around the bars only show the auras applied to your target such as rupture.

you have my respect mate

I find this addon really useful and well designed, but i have a problem, that i ignore if it is me that cant make up my mind.
As a rogue, i cant see the buff i get for slice and dice and hunger for blood, by my side is the only thing missing, tho i can see enemies with others debuffs, such as rupture.
Did i miss anything?

With that being said, I don't like to code redundancy such as including two Rune displays or two cast bars because it causes more problems down the road maintaining the redundancy and also creates a larger than necessary memory footprint and I strive to try and keep MetaHud as lean as possible to not be a burden on less than optimum computers.

Circle Cast 2.0 will be bundled as a module for a future version of metahud. This means that it will come as a third directory in the MetaHud-X.X.zip file but will also be available as a stand-alone addon.

There's my compromise. More details on CC2 will be available once I get closer to a release.

Pardon my ignorance and stupidity... But the fucking castbars have gone down the proverbial shithole. Does anyone know of a replacement castbar mod? I relied heavily on the metahud castbars (I was used to them) since they were embedded into the metahud and I instinctively knew where to look. Now everything is in disarray.
