MetaHud - Nuckin Branch  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v30300-8.5
by: Nuckin [More]

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch is a Heads Up Display Add-on for World of Warcraft 3.0 and above. It is a continuation of the original MetaHud by MetaHawk which was discontinued after Patch 2.4.3.

Although MH-Nuckin is a continuation, it isn't the same. MH-Nuckin is focused on remaining encapsulated as a self sustaining Add-on without requiring other libraries. As thus, its feature set differs from MetaHud's.

As of v30100-8.0, MetaHud - Nuckin Branch no longer includes a cast bar. I suggest using my stand alone cast bar called Circle Cast.

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch Features: (as of v30100-8.0)

  • Curved Verticle Health, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Runic Power bars for Player, Target, and Pets.
  • Target's Target Name and Health Bar.
  • Reskinnable Bar Backgrounds.
  • Death Knight rune support.
  • Movable Death Knight Runes.
  • Skinnable Death Knight Runes.
  • Target Buffs (40) and Target Debuffs (40).
  • Countdown timers on all Target Auras.
  • Movable and Resizable Target Auras.
  • Target range indicator.
  • Target guild display.
  • Resting, PvP, Combat, Leader, and Looter icons.
  • Text based Threat Meter.
  • Unique HUD texture that are exclusive to MetaHud - Nuckin Branch.
  • In Game graphical configuration tool to make MetaHud look and feel how you want.
  • Savable Profiles per Warcraft Account.

I found that using version 30000-5 fixes the Glyph Page. Don't know what changed between the that one and the most recent.

Re: DK Runes showing up

Please read at least a page back before you comment. This problem is noted and addressed.

Ok, when updating to the newest version of this addon, I get the runes bar that shows up below the portrait of DK's. However, it shows up on ALL toons...DK or not. I ended up going back to the previous version to get rid of the problem. I found out it was Metahud by systematically disabling addons until the runes bar dissapeared. I hope this can be fixed so that I can update this addon sometime.

This also appears to be happening to me. At the top of the Glyphs page, "Glyphs" and "Inscription" appear on top of each other. I found on a google search that someone with Bartender and DHUD installed had this issue and it turned out to be fixed with a DHUD update. That's what made me check if metahud was doing the same thing. It appears it is. I'll go back to Underhood for now. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my glyph page, I just haven't had time to test for which addon was causing the problem. Do you also have a problem with getting your achievement page to show? (the front page, the one with the recent achievements) I don't know if it's metahud causing that, but I have a feeling that those two are related.

you know, stack traces are great when i have personally written all the code, but, i didn't, so it helps to know what you were trying to do, if anything when the error arose.

Metahud is interfering with the options part of Mik's Scrolling Battle Text. I brought it to the attention of Mik. He says the issue will persist until he gets around to rewriting the options module, however he also said the issue is a product of metahud changing things it shouldn't, which, consequently, affects dynamically created options.

This problem existed before you took over the metahud mod, so I'm guessing the error is in the previous author's code.

Good luck with your semester,

I think i missed something somewhere because this is the first i have read of this issue... or maybe im asleep again lol

Mk, you do a possession quest. Aka, you're riding a vehicle/drake/whatever. Your vehicle HP is shown where your pets HP would be, which is fine. Your vehicles energy/mana for their abilities is not shown at all, anywhere.

I was suggesting you have it shown properly where the pets mana would be.

Edited after answer:

1)Thx for answer.
2)Its good to see those addons working well, but why dont You make metahud much better by adding those options? Its better to use 1 simple addon instead of 3...

I didn't understand any of that frankly.

And for everyone complaining about the runes, here's a quick dirty macro:
/script MetaHud_Rune1:Hide();
/script MetaHud_Rune2:Hide();
/script MetaHud_Rune3:Hide();
/script MetaHud_Rune4:Hide();
/script MetaHud_Rune5:Hide();
/script MetaHud_Rune6:Hide();

Ta Da! or you can add these lines without the "/script" into Metahud.lua.

And FYI, If a feature is requested and I acknowledge it, it doesn't need to be requested again... or again... or a fourth time, so please read through the comments before posting to help reduce redundancy.
