MetaHud - Nuckin Branch is a Heads Up Display Add-on for World of Warcraft 3.0 and above. It is a continuation of the original MetaHud by MetaHawk which was discontinued after Patch 2.4.3.

Although MH-Nuckin is a continuation, it isn't the same. MH-Nuckin is focused on remaining encapsulated as a self sustaining Add-on without requiring other libraries. As thus, its feature set differs from MetaHud's.

As of v30100-8.0, MetaHud - Nuckin Branch no longer includes a cast bar. I suggest using my stand alone cast bar called Circle Cast.

MetaHud - Nuckin Branch Features: (as of v30100-8.0)

  • Curved Verticle Health, Mana, Rage, Energy, and Runic Power bars for Player, Target, and Pets.
  • Target's Target Name and Health Bar.
  • Reskinnable Bar Backgrounds.
  • Death Knight rune support.
  • Movable Death Knight Runes.
  • Skinnable Death Knight Runes.
  • Target Buffs (40) and Target Debuffs (40).
  • Countdown timers on all Target Auras.
  • Movable and Resizable Target Auras.
  • Target range indicator.

rune watch

Hey is there anyway of disabling the rune watch because um im not a death knight and sometimes its kinda irritating to look at but i really love this mod i saw it in a book from the author of the atlas series of mods and tried it out yesterday. This is my first interface mod in four years roughly and its quite useful.

I know, and i currently do not have time to fix this, my suggestion would be to enable the blizzard frames for the fight. Or try X-Perl, but last i saw, it didn't handle this correctly yet either

Any progress on the enemy cast bar problems?

P.S. The glyph page has Blizzard bugs. It's not an addon problem. Reload your UI to make it work for a bit.

if your friend has a minimap button, he is using a very old build of metahud. But, to access Player Menu, you need to right click your Target Text, to access Target Menu, left click player text, and to access the configuration options, type "/metahud options"

a few problems

hi guys, first of all great addon

but 1 have a few problems:
-how can I leave a group, reset all instances, select loot and so on? I cant find these options on my character? i cant even click on my own character...and my freind downloaded it too and he says he has the options menü at the mini-map but i dont have it, thou we have the same addons

could you please help me

Something i forgot to mention this morning. In 3 weeks finals will be all over and i will have a decent amount more free time to work on MetaHud, it is during this time that i plan to make a complete rewrite, line by line.

It is my hope that this will abolish any logic errors that could possibly have been made by the previous author, and will allow me to re-engineer the frames to better work with blizzard's new vehicle system that currently even gives XPerl a hard time

In my experience, this has been the opposite and v6 works but v5 didn't. It's a very weird bug that is tough to pin-point, I promise that it is at the top of my list to fix this weekend though.

Anyways, I appreciate the regulars on the comments section helping me out. So far I have yet to find any "Catastrophic" bugs but will *hopefully* be re-entering development by the end of the week.

"Show Leader Icon"

THANK YOU for continuing this addon! Since finding META HUD from the previous author it has been a consistant feature for all my charactors. I have looked at several HUDs and have not found any I like as much.

I mentioned an issue I have been having to the previous author and unfortunately never received an answer or solution to the problem. I hope you can help when you have time (I know you must be going crazy with finals and all).

When I invite other players to a party the Leader Icon (crown) shows up on the right side of the HUD -- whether the option is checked or not in the options panel. If I promote another player to leader the icon goes away as expected but returns again if I am made leader again.

As stated above, this is true regardles of the checkbox status on the option page. I have tested this with all my addons installed as well as with META HUD alone, and on multiple toons. Any help or advice you can offer to a non-programmer would be most appreciated.

Thanks again for an awesome addon. I wish you great success with this endeavor.

Got this error while doing the daily quest in Howling Fjord where you're flying in the plane shooting gargoyles. It repeated maybe 10 or 20 times.
