FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Border on XP Bar?

I love BT4 and have virtually no complaints. I'm using it with Buttonfacade and Skinner, and wanted to know if there's any way to put a border around the XP bar--now that I'm leveling again, I reactivated the XP bar, and it's just sort of floating there open-ended.

I turned off both Buttonfacade and Skinner and confirmed that neither is removing the border, so I assume it must be the default in BT4.

Thanks for the great work!

No way you can hide Bar1. Choose other bar.

It is how it is, unfortunatelly.
Take one of the skinning modules and use it to "close" your ends. Or get any other module that can show you exp bar - X-Perl f.e. (as heavy hard solution)

It seems that Bartender has some missfunction with the new vehicle system. in the quest in the howling fjord and in the quest "Lumber hack" i could push the buttons - but no actions followed.

Hey, first off, thanks for this great add on. I regularly like to switch how bars are situated/colored/etc and I haven't found something I couldn't do with BT4.

Now, in Wrath I've been having a TON of trouble get the siege vehicle to work, I have to press the hot key about 50 times to get it to work, if it decides to work at all, so I generally just turn off Bartender for these quests. Also, the pitch bar isn't there which makes them difficult to use. So what I'm getting at is, do you think it would be possible to just hide BT4 while in a siege vehicle and show the default Blizzard frame?

Any response is appreciated, and again, thanks so much for this great addon.

Micro Menu

I upgraded to 4.2.0 yesterday, and the only problem I've found so far is that I seem to be missing the option to make the micro menu vertical, as was previously available. Is this supposed to be missing? I liked it.

Just like to add that I also have to disable BT4 to be able to control any vehicle. The right bar comes up, but clicking the icons does nothing 99% of the time.

I used to use TrinityBars, but for various reasons I don't want to use the new version: Macaroon!. I've given Bartender a try and I really like it. The GUI for setting it up is great. I have a quick question though.

In TrinityBars, you could have different keybindings for different stances. For example, an unstealthed rogue might have Sinister Strike in the 3rd box, bound to the 2 key, but stealthed maybe pickpocket is in the 8th box and that should be bound to the 2 key.

I realize it seems silly, but I do enough 1-handed playing that the buttons are ligned up to simplify that albeit with a modified playstyle. When I have two hands available, however, my other playstyle works better with hotkeys that don't necessarily line up. Is this possible with Bartender as well? If not, are there any chances of that being added in the near future?

Just set the micro menu to have 10 (or whatever) rows, and increase the buffer between the buttons, and it will look exactly like it did prior to this update when verticale.

Yeah, it does.
Just move your buttons to be on the keys you want them. Isn't that obvious?
