FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I count 6 of the 10 available normal bars shown. Plenty of room for expansion

Dual Spec

Are there any plans to make Bartender more friendly with dual specs? Possibly making it switch settings with changed specs, etc... ? I believe that since Bartender uses the actual Blizzard Bars that it may be limited in making it so that your bars will change to reflect your new spells based upon your chosen settings when you switch, but stuff like that (and changed bindings) would be really neat.

Microbar is losing 2 buttons

For some reason, since the latest Bartender update, my microbar is missing two buttons. The LFG button, and the questlog button. If i go into the settings and uncheck "enable" for the micromenu, and then recheck it, the buttons appear again. Then they go away the next time I zone, reload ui, or log out.

It seemed to only do it when i set the Rows = 5 or more.

Change this around any way you want.. I just don't see how you can fill your bars. Even if you put all your balance spells on #1 and your resto spells on #6, I don't see you needing more than that.

I just make it work. Though id like to do a bit more. this is going to be rearranged with Dual Specs. But Ya technically i dont "need" more. But i have a lot of dead buttons since i dont use 12 on every bar. Would love to be able to take some of those empty buttons and make another bar or 2.

Either way I make due. And the mods Low memory use and ease of use will keep me using it.

I don't recall there being more than 1 bar's worth of abilities for either cat or bear.. particularly since a portion of cat stuff requires prowling and should be separate.

Either way.. there are 10 bars availalble. There should be enough.

1 - "caster form" stuff (shows for cow/elf, travel, flight, aqua). Shows #7 or #8 in bear / cat form. Possess bar.
2 - buffs, rezzes, professions
3 - emergency consumables
4 - non-emergency consumables
5 - quest items?? (not necessary with new quest tracking feature)
6 - ???
7 - bear 1
8 - cat 1
9 - bear 2. Shows #10 in cat form. Hidden when not bear/cat.
10 - cat 2

Change this around any way you want.. I just don't see how you can fill your bars. Even if you put all your balance spells on #1 and your resto spells on #6, I don't see you needing more than that.

I guess in theory you could use it like an auto-hidden windows taskbar, and anchor it to the top/bottom/etc. I'm sure I wouldn't want to use it, however.

It would kind of replace "Hide out of combat" but would allow you to mouse over the bars and still see them even if you were not in combat.
Not sure if Bartender bars are named frames or not, but with Goose, you can set any frame to show/hide according to macro conditionals (such as nocombat and combat).

I have my action bars set to 0.85 scale, but this makes the font for hotkeys really horrible. Is there a way to set a different scale for fonts?

Nevermind - Found this http://www.wowace.com/projects/barte...e-for-buttons/

I haven't read it that closely.. but my understanding is that when you switch spec, your entire action bar config changes. Not just your main bar. There are 2 separate configs for each of your 12 bars.

What I'm planning on is having bar 10 be Moonkin stuff in when I'm specced Moonkin.. and then be Tree stuff when I'm specced tree. They'll both be set to Bar 10. Bar 1 will still be the hodgepodge associated with "caster" (e.g. Balance & Resto Classic) form.

Is it possible to have a custom condition to switch, let's say, button 1 of bar 1 to button 3 of bar 3? Been searching around but still haven't found the answer to that yet. All I came across were relating to entire bar switch only .

Will that "secondary main bar" be one of the 12 bars that bartender gives access to?

In other words, will we "lose" 12 buttons when Dual speccing ?
