Introducing Ion: Menu Bar - Version 3 "Lithium"

Ion: Menu Bar is a menu bar replacement that works within the Ion UI framework. This addon adds a menu bar containing all 11 core menu options to Ion, which can be used in place of the default Blizzard bar.

This addon is intended to work as part of the Ion family of addons, and as such it is necessary to download and install the core Ion addon in order for this addon to work. Please download this addon from the following link:

I've tried that, all it does is add in a new XP button, doesnt chance the width of the XP bar... theres no "Width" or "Height" to select.. just scale which makes it too tall for me, and all the other ones are for modifying the bar, not the XP button

Nolym

(By XP button I mean the thing that is the XP bar within the macaroon bar)

Since XP/cast bars are individual elements and you can have more than one per bar, they are set up to be edited individually.

Button Edit -> Click on XP bar -> Right Click XP bar -> Selected desired option to edit -> Hold down left mouse to increase value, hold down right mouse to decrease. Use the mousewheel over the bar to increase/decrease incrementally.

at first, thanks for putting the best features of TrinityBars into your new Addon. great work

But on my Warrior the MacaroonBound-SubAddon seems not to work correctly. Thereīs no Keybinding-Button in my Spellbook, but the one in my Macros-menu shows up and works. On my Warlock, both buttons work fine.

And i have another Question: What about the new Vehicle-Control-Feature in WotlK, will Macaroon have any Effect on it or will we maybe see an MacaroonVehicle-SubAddon anytime the Expansion is out so we can configue this Bar too?

P.S.: Been out of School a while, so i hope my English is still good enough and you know what iīm talking about, hehe
I will log onto my warrior and see if there is anything weird going on with the button...actually, I just thought of what it could be...

I have put in requests to Blizzard to help improve the vehicle API so that addons can replicate vehicle actions better. I do have a backup plan, though.

Right now if you create a bar with a posses state and make the buttons into pet buttons, that will give you the vehicle actions. You can then make a macro button with "/run VehicleExit()" to make a exiting easier.

1- Change the height of an XP Bar.
2- Change the width of an XP Bar.
3- Change the orientation of an XP Bar to Vertical. It accepts the /mac shape 2 command (setting it to Vertical Orientation) but since the bar consists of, essentially, one button, nothing happens visually.
From the change notes -

- Not all the addons are fleshed out, still need to work on them, such as being able to resize them

I am still working on a mechanism to easily change the xp/cast bars.

Yeah, it was pretty painless.

The Pet bar for my hunter took a bit more work, but works fairly well now. I think I have something screwed up, however. When I click to manually trigger an attack I get a targeting error, but this is the wrong forum for that...

I plan on porting TrinityXP and Trinity Castbars to WotLK, however, reports are that you can run the current versions in WoW 3.0. I have not tried it myself. Just make sure you have Trinity2 also installed.
Great, going to try that now.

Your Trinity addon has been the center of my customized UI for a long time, I'm very glad to see that I won't have to "settle" for something less when it comes around to live. Every other addon I use I could replace with something else close enough that I wouldn't feel much of a loss, replacing Trinity was something I wasn't looking forward to.

Thanks again.

So one more "last request" so to speak.

Any chance of Exp/Rep bars making it into Xtras?

Or does anyone know a stand alone mod for these that works well?
Yeah, making your own class bar is fairly easy And making one via the Xtras package is a bit more complicated than re-parenting the bags and menus. I might add a class bar, but it may not show up until around WotLK release time.

I plan on porting TrinityXP and Trinity Castbars to WotLK, however, reports are that you can run the current versions in WoW 3.0. I have not tried it myself. Just make sure you have Trinity2 also installed. TrinityBars2 itself obviously will not run with the changes in WoW 3.0.
