Features -

  • Every button in Macaroon is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.
Commands -
  • Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:
menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape
name: Change current bar's name
strata: Change current bar's frame strata
alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
state: Toggle states for the current bar (/mac state <state>). Type /mac statelist for vaild states
statelist: Print a list of valid states

hm, found a bug:

Page/Stance/Rouge bar dosnt work at 30000.19... (just on a new bar)

can u make a option to autohide the petbar?

Did you enable "possess" on the bar? Are there buttons in the "possess" state and are they set to "pet"?

Vehicle controls

I noticed my bars didn't automatically change to vehicle controls and I couldn't find a way to make any of the bars work for vehicle controls, any ideas?

Maul - whatever you do, please make sure the profile you use now contains *all* the fields you need for everything including future versions (or at least make them compatible)

I remember when I used Trinity 1.0, everytime a new version comes out my old profile get messed up, so I had to redo everything again ;p

Unfortunately it seems there are a few new problems.

In quests such as "Betrayal" (Zul'drak), you pet-ify another mob using an item. No pet bar is appearing, even when the pet bar is defined. The possession happens in combat, if it matters.

That or I'm doing something silly. How should my pet bar be defined?

*edit* So I enable the Blizzard bar to get a "working" pet bar, and the Macaroon pet bar suddenly decides to show up. Ugh.

I use a universal layout on all of my characters, with all buttons in the same places, same keybinds, etc. The only thing that differs is the actual macros themselves.

This goes as far as to have stance pages and a pet bar on classes that don't have pets (Well, really, my pet bar is a different bar when there is no pet)

I would love to be able to share changes to the layout/states/etc between toons without sharing the individual macros.

Hmm, I will have to investigate. I did not realize DK's had stances that could make a bar change. Bar/state changes can only happen if Blizzard allows for it to happen.

Hi, loving the new bar mod and appreciate all the hard work that you must put into it, but I'm having a small problem I hope you could help with (or anyone else for that matter, I'm not fussy ).

I'm playing a Death Knight on the test realms and can set the stances to show on Unholy, Blood and Frost, but I have the talent skill 'Shadow of Death' upon death rises up as a ghoul and continue to fight for 45secs. When you say that you're adding a profile system, do you mean something along the lines of Ace profiles where, if two characters are sharing the same profile, and one character changes something -- like adds a bar or moves a bar or whatever, that change is reflected in the other character as well?

I don't make sad addons! Only happy ones

Macaroon currently does not work on live. It is only compatible with WoW 3.0. Once the 3.0 pre-patch hits, then Trinity Bars will cease to work (which is supposed to be on Oct 14, I believe)

I am currently working on a "converter" to help upgrade Trinity Bars users to Macaroon. I am working hard to get this done and tested before the pre-patch hits. If all goes well, there will be no sadness
