Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.

- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.

I'm not sure if this will work with the flyout system as it is.

If you go by 'item' you would have to provide a name or partial name, and with over 100 items granting AP that would be impractical.

It is also difficult using 'type' as well since it falls into the itemType category of "consumable->other", and it is very likely you'll have many items in your bags that meet that criteria. Although, using 'type : other' will populate the flyout, only with more than intended.

We know the phrase "Artifact Power" is included in the tooltip, but as tooltip scanning was removed by SLOKnightfall a while back because of, I think, it having the potential to cause system lag or some such.

Personally, with AP being such a big thing in Legion, I wish that Blizz had included "artifact power" as it's own sub-type under consumable.

I did, however, find a macro script that will look in your bags and basically use the first AP item it finds with each click. It's rather lengthy, but Ion is a champ at handling lengthy macros, although this one is not nearly as long as just doing a hundred lines of "/use [insert name of item here]". I'll put it in at the end of this post. BE WARNED: USE THIS MACRO AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOU CAN'T REALLY CONTROL JUST WHICH AP ITEM IS USED IF YOU WANT TO SAVE CERTAIN ONES FOR OFFSPEC WEAPONS.

I can't seem to get a flyout working for Artifact Power items... Any chance you could help?

I thought this would work:
/flyout item:Artifact Power:linear:bottom:top:6:mouse:show

I wasn't sure about spaces in the text so I also tried:
/flyout item:Power:linear:bottom:top:6:mouse:show

But I must be doing something wrong as neither bring up AP items, the second only shows my stack of 'Potion of Prolonged Power'.

It might be possible. The only issue is that if you are using bars that show/hide based on certain conditions, then those bar's buttons will get triggered when they should not be. I'll look into it when I get a chance and see what can be done.

Keybindings are not active whilst the respective button(s) are hidden due to the script OnHide set on line 3223 in Ion_buttons.lua. Any chance this could be reworked somewhat to allow keybinds to keep working when the UI is hidden (say, for example, you hide your UI with Alt-Z to capture a moment, yet still would like to actually be able to use your abilities)? Removing that codeblock allows keybinds to function whilst the UI is hidden, but I am not sure of side effects this may have (say after a Possession or the likes).

The AuraTimer Option doesnt seem to work with Slice n Dice right now, which was the greatest reason for me to use this Addon. Any Idea to fix this ?

The flyout code got changed a bit and the "+" flag on it was removed. You should be able to get the close to the same result by using /flyout type:Food:linear:right:left:6:mouse:show

The updated Flyout info can be found here and also in the in game help in the options menu.
Thanks so much! I spent hours Googling and didn't even think to look in the game menu help (usually, they're not so helpful).

it's actually a known issue on blizzard's end. If you've started rep with Conjurer Margoss (the fishing guy in new dal) it adds a blank 'hated' rep as well. It is this blank rep that is causing rep addons to freak out and throw an error (basically returns 'nil' when trying to pull the name of the rep).

Personally, I've got Ion status bars disabled because of this and use the default UI for mirror bars, weak auras for cast bars, and the rep tab on the char pane for rep tracking. But that's just me.
Aw stink. Thanks for the explanation, I hadn't seen that one when reading through comments before. I guess I'll do the same. I already use Quartz for cast bar so turning off the others isn't too bad. I'll definitely keep an eye out for news of a fix though
Think this was mentioned on the other page and someone had an easy fix. The solution they mentioned simply involved going to your Reputation tab (under Character Info in-game). You can left-click on the rep causing issues (mine was Conjurer Margoss) and setting it to "Move to Inactive". This completely brings back all functionality to the bars. Hopefully will work for you as well.

I remember being able to right click to pick a rep or set it to automatically choose, but right clicking doesn't seem to do anything now. I've tried deleting and re-creating but no luck.
