Not sure if this has been mentioned, but key bindings on my pet bar are not being remembered between log ins. My bar shows the text for the correct binding, but hitting the key does nothing, I have to reset it each log in for each toon.

This addon is much appreciated Maul. Been using Trinity for about a year I think and very glad I won;t have to go back to the default UI when Wrath hits.

Vehicle UI

Just to echo everyone before me, this is a fantastic addon. I loved TrinityBars and I love this.

- for the poster below me, when you get into a vehicle, your portrait should turn into the health and mana of that vehicle. If you right-click on the portrait of the vehicle and say "Dismiss", it will dismount you.

- one major problem i've been having: The Vehicle UI coming up on the Pet Buttons.

* For Vehicle skills that appear on buttons 1, 2, or 3 (petattack, petfollow, petstay) - Pressing the buttons with the mouse gives "Invalid Target", but using keybinds works fine.

* For vehicle skills that appear on buttons 4, 5, 6, or 7, neither pressing the skill directly nor using a keybind causes them to go off. When I do press them, it makes a "double clicking" noise, as if it is pressing through the vehicle UI, to try and use the Pet spells.

Because that spell has parens in it - () - the macro parser on Blizzard side is attempting to use what is inside the parens as a rank. To make the Blizzard parser (and Macaroon) see the spell correctly, you have to add another set of parens -

/cast Faerie Fire (Feral)()

And that is the way it has always been with those types of spells

I am working on a "converter" addon. Hopefully I will have a testable version ready before the WotLK pre-patch hits the live servers. And yup, the goal is to keep it simple and low-maint, which so far it is for me

Great work!

I'm testing Macaroon and the extras in the beta. It looks really good so far. I especially like the idea of binding directly to the spellbook, although I haven't gotten it to work yet.

The only problems I've noticed are text alignment issues. The sliders in the main menu are all jumbled, and the label on buttons indicating the key bind is too far to the right.

I have one feature request that I always wished for in Trinity: an option to lock bindings to a button's action rather than to the button itself. So if I'm organizing bars and I move my prowl button, I don't have to perform the extra steps of clearing the old binding and resetting it in its new location.

Profiles are coming. I am changing the name to "profiles" from templates to be more consistent with other addons in terminology.

I am currently working out cd/buff/debuff display. I have most of the kinks worked out.

The vehicle UI requires some added API from Blizz, which I have requested and I *think* they are going to implement.

So far the vehicle API and the companion API are not 100% addon friendly. If and when those changes hit, you will see a much more robust implementation in Macaroon.
