This isn't working for me (in 30000.14). I can now scroll the list of icons (which I couldn't in .13), and when I select the icon it displays in the button edit dialog. However, it doesn't appear on the button itself, and instead I get the default questionmark icon.

When I click on this icon and scroll up and down, the icons on the window don't change. So I am limited to the ones of the first page.
That bug is fixed with 30000.14

I assume this is being worked on. Just a reminder in case it was missed.

Re: On button text +

On buttons that are white or close to white, my macro text and keybind text almost disappears. I would like if you added an outline to those texts, if possible.

I noticed that whenever I put an item on my bar, it automaticly changes the button type from "macro" to "action" (It also happens with my pets / mounts). This behavior is kinda annoying as I would still like to keep my action-id based buttons as they are for "non-macaroon" gameplay.
I will see if I can increase the shadow without it being over-powering.

As far as pets/mount auto-changing to action, currently this is necessary as dragging icons from the pet interface is not well supported. I am still trying to work out the mechanics (essentially, the API gives no info what is on the cursor when it is a pet/mount)

Suggestion: It would be nice if the automagical macro creation did not include ranks when you drag and drop a spell. Currently downranking is dead with all spells costing a percentage of base mana regardless of rank.

The main reason to not include a spell rank in the macro is so the macro scales as you level. When you learn new ranks of spells in the current system you would need to edit the macro text or you could end up casting a lower rank than you want to. I realize it's not a big issue, but it would be a nice modification to what is already shaping up to be an incredible bar mod.
You have an excellent point.

Thx anyway for trinity (maybe an update soon ? ) and this macaroon.
In Macaroon it is slightly different. Any button that you do not want to have its keybind changed you left-click on that button while in binding mode to "lock" the bindings. If the bindings are "locked", then they will not be changed by assigning other keybinds in other states.

So, in binding mode you will either see white text that says "bind" or red text that says "locked".

I think Blizzard broke something. :/
Yeah, Blizzard changed things up. I will have an update soon.

Using +/- to toggle the subcats seems to be a Blizzard error, though.

I haven't been able to track down more details yet, but the keybindings are displayed on the buttons, but pressing the keys does nothing (though clicking them with the mouse works fine). Rebinding the keys seems to fix the issue (I seem to remember a similar issue with TB a while back).
It is possible this is a Macaroon problem, but I have found that the basic Blizz keybindings automatically reset every time I log or /reloadui. When I unbind the basic Blizz keybindings for my action bars (including the shift- and ctrl- keybindings for actionbars), then it works until I log or /reloadui. I'm guessing this is a problem with the beta client not saving keybindings you set, rather than Macaroon. I found a post about it on the beta bugs forum, but I forget the link. I will look for it and post a link for you.

EDIT: Here's the link to a post in the Technical Support section detailing the keybinding issues, including blue responses. Unfortunately, it's not resolved for everyone, but maybe it will help you.

EDIT AGAIN: It looks like the unbinding issue I was referring to has been solved in the last build. Check to see if you are still having the issue.

Custom states made prior to the current version might need to be reset. Simply open up the custom states editor click on the text area then click out of it, that should save it to the adjusted parameters needed to cycle customs states.

I am still working on the pet/possess stuff.

I do plan on expanding the button editor to use the mousewheel functionality that is on bars. Trinity Bars is able to scale individual buttons, define independent x/y axis, etc. Adding in a means to do that with action ID's should not be a problem, considering the framework for the concept is already in the works

Ah yes, the clone bar feature will make a comeback Not that it ever went away
