Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.

You simply use the bar editor to remap those state to a state you prefer to be shown when those states are true. I've remapped mine to casterbar.
The controls for this are the two drop down menus just above the box with Padding and #button, #columns to the bottom left of the gui.

Question: Setting Macaroon Bars to stanced bars makes them swap even on travel and aquatic form (and supposedly also on flight form) which do not have any special actions thus this Bar swap is obsolte. How can I circumvent or prevent this?

It also seems that buttons which are set to "macro" do not behave the same way as buttons set to "action ID" in case of Button Facades colorations (the pressed highlight color is unchangeable)

My Druid set a button as moonfire.When my status becomes Eclipse (Solar),my skill becomes sunfire, and then I can't use it.
It works fine in 40000.2

Ah, right. I dont use the commands much myself. But it should be a piece of cake to maka a command to open it. I'll do it myself and send it to Maul if he doesn't beat me to it.

Ok, thought you'd need s blank state to go to when not in the defined stance state.

The bindings should not be a problem at all if you just left click the buttons in bind edit mode to lock the bindings to the buttons. Works fine for me.

Stance:2 hides when another stance is active.

Only the keybindings of the Battle/Zerk stance bar are NOT safed when I bind Defensive state bar to the same keys.

It sure doesn't do justice to a top notch addon like Macaroon. MacaroonFu was way better, but i've put all FuBar addons to rest, R.I.P. FuBar, i've got a new love now: Bazooka.

There's a request ticket hanging somewhere in Maul's Kitchen about making an LDB addon like MacaroonFu, but it's very busy in there (no idea what he's cooking between all those Coke cans ), so i can understand he has more important things on his mind with all those bug tickets hanging around the oven and other projects he's busy with.

I hope when everything is quiet again, after the Cataclysm introduction Storm lies down, he will find some will and time to cook an LDB addon for Macaroon, but till that time this looks like a nice solution.

And.. If you want to make the arms/berzerk bar disappear when in defence stance you could jusy as well use a preset stance bar and remap the berzerk state to the arms state instead. Unless you really need/want the bar in different positions for different stances.
